Project Story

The brief called for a high-end London interior that would feel luxurious and comfortable for guests while reflecting the client’s commitment to environmental responsibility.

Working with an overseas client also required careful communication and coordination across distance, while the project itself involved researching suppliers and contractors with credible sustainability practices and managing the wider delivery programme against a four-month target.

The design developed around a predominantly neutral palette of beige, brown, cream and grey, complemented by selective accents of blue, yellow and red, while velvet, silk and leather introduced depth and texture. Comfortable furniture, durable finishes and soft lighting were selected to create an interior that feels refined but remains practical and easy to maintain.

Through the coordination of design decisions, procurement, suppliers and project delivery, the apartment was developed as a cohesive guest residence that combines contemporary comfort with the historic character of Cumberland Terrace and a more considered approach to luxury.
